How to convert almost any file type to a PDF
Court reporting software is unique and not designed for proofreaders to assist you. If your software program does not allow for you to "print to PDF" or to "print to Adobe PDF," then you need to convert your file to PDF a different way. CutePDF Writer is an easy-to-use program to accomplish that. Keep reading for step-by-step instructions to download, install, and use the program.
Note: you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to see the changes I suggest. Please be sure you have that. If you don't, you can download it here for free.

Using CutePDF Writer
Open your software program and the specific transcript you want to convert to PDF. Go to print, just as if you were printing out the document on paper.
Rather than printing to a device, select "CutePDF writer" then click print.
Don't worry! It won't actually print out. Instead, it will ask you where you want to save the document. Give it a name just as you would any other document. Click save.
Email it to me at myproofreader.co@gmail.com.
The PDF you just created attachs to an email just like any file you want to send someone.
Please don't forget to complete your preference survey! You only need to do this once. I keep your responses on file to make working together in the future easier.
